Practice Medical Acupuncture In 4 Days
-
This is the headline I recently came across.
Practice Medical Acupuncture In 4 Days.
Would you go to an acupuncturist who has 4 days of training? Neither would I!
When seeking out an acupuncturist, make sure they have at least 3 years training with over 2,000 hours of acupuncture study.
One of the main issues surrounding medical acupuncture is their lack of training.
This ad goes on to say that this is an “intensive course” and “immediately after the course you can start treating your patients with medical acupuncture as a fully qualified practitioner”.
That couldn’t be further from the truth!
Bad enough, but are they also trying to fool the public that their quickie medical acupuncture courses are superior to the 3 years of training to become a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.)?
You bet they are!
This is included in their advertisement:
More effective than traditional acupuncture!
So why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to know the real differences between medical acupuncture and traditional acupuncture.
Does it really make sense that one can become a fully qualified practitioner in 4 days?Do some research before selecting an acupuncturist and make sure they are truly qualified and licensed. Don’t fall for scams.

This article is a malpractice attourneys dream come true.
I have a friend who I am with now, and showed me this website. It is almost impossible to comprehend. My friend has spent 4 years in study, a very humble person indeed, and a soon to be great acupuncturists. Total years in school 8 which included undergrad.
I have witnessed many malpractice cases, but I must say, that this would be a dream come true for any lawyer. Can you imagine a case presented to a jury, in which some medical doctor performed acupuncture on a patient with only 4 days of training, far from the standards in the US, but they were able to do it, just because they are a MD. That would be a very easy case to win. I know that this is sad to see for many REAL acupuncturists, but for lawyers, this is the best thing since sliced bread.
I do not care who you think you are, MD or DO or even DC, but if you think for one moment, that 4 days of training qualify you as a acupuncturist, then that is a laugh. Talk about GOD syndrome. I also do not care what the org you get your training from, THEY DO NOT MAKE THE LAWS. You are indeed in very dangerous waters when you do this. Mark my words, this is a very bad idea, but go ahead, as it will provide a great pay day for your local attourney..
As they say “You can’t make it up this good”
